*Alt Text Excel file, named as Paper_[Paper ID]_AltText.xlsx

-
*The Excel file should contain two columns:
-
Column A: Figure or illustration number
-
Column B: Corresponding Alt Text
-
-
Please provide Alt Text for every informative figure, illustration, chart, diagram, or other image in your paper. A table provided as an image also requires Alt Text. An ordinary editable Word or LaTeX table does not require Alt Text.
-
Alt Text should briefly and objectively communicate the essential content and meaning of the visual element. It should be understandable without seeing the image, should not simply repeat the figure caption, and must be checked carefully for technical accuracy.
-
If your paper contains no figures, illustrations, or tables in image format, please still include the Excel file and state: "This paper contains no visual elements requiring Alt Text".
-
This accessibility requirement applies to all papers included in the Springer LNCS proceedings, regardless of whether the paper will be presented physically in Beijing or through a pre-recorded video.
-
Springer Nature offers an AI-supported Alternative Text Assistant Tool through the Editor Portal.
Use of the Alt Text Assistant Tool is optional. Authors may prepare the Alt Text themselves. If the AI-supported tool is used, the authors must carefully review and correct the generated text. Authors remain responsible for the accuracy and appropriateness of all submitted Alt Text.
