Energy Informatics.Academy Conference 2026 (EI.A 2026)
14-16 October 2026, Sino-Danish College (SDC), Beijing, China

A leading international forum for energy informatics, combining in-person academic exchange with global research dissemination

Why EI.A 2026

EI.A 2026 is designed for researchers who seek more than a paper presentation. The conference offers a focused academic environment where energy related research, digital methods, and institutional feasibility are discussed together, rather than in isolation.

What makes EI.A 2026 distinctive is its discussion-centered single-track format, which prioritizes depth of exchange over parallel sessions, enabling authors to receive substantive feedback and engage directly with peers, session chairs, and keynote speakers. Accepted papers are published through pre-conference LNCS proceedings, ensuring early visibility and timely dissemination.

EI.A 2026 is co-hosted with the Summer School in Energy Informatics 2026 (12–13 October 2026), which which addresses how climate constraints, digital energy methods, and institutional feasibility are connected in energy system research. While the summer school focuses on shared conceptual foundations and analytical perspectives, the conference provides a forum for presenting and debating advanced, original research, creating a rare and coherent academic continuum across the two events.

Beyond the conference days, EI.A 2026 is embedded in the Energy Informatics Academy, an international research community that emphasizes continuity, collaboration, and long-term impact. Participants contribute not only to a conference, but to an ongoing academic ecosystem shaping the future of energy informatics.

Conference Format

EI.A 2026 combines deep physical interaction with long-term global visibility through two complementary presentation formats.

1

Physical Presentation

On-site presentation in single-track sessions with extended discussion and direct interaction with peers, session chairs, and keynote speakers.

2

Pre-Recorded Video Presentation

Optional video presentation released during the conference and made publicly available via EI.A channels, extending the reach and long-term impact of accepted work.

Both formats follow the same peer-review process and offer identical publication opportunities.

Why Attend in Person

Physical participation at EI.A 2026 enables extended academic discussion, informal exchange during breaks and social events, and direct engagement with the EI.A research community, including keynote speakers, editors, and peers.
