Energy Informatics.Academy Conference 2025 (EI.A 2025)
3-6 December 2025, Universiti Tenaga Nasional (UNITEN), Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

Day 4 Site Visit

Join us for an exclusive visit to the UNITEN Smart Building Living Lab, a cutting-edge facility showcasing innovative building automation and energy management solutions. The lab integrates over 1,000 sensors, gateways, digital power meters, and weather stations to monitor and optimize indoor comfort, energy efficiency, and sustainability.

This visit offers a unique opportunity to explore how advanced technologies address global building challenges such as:

  • how many buildings globally have none or limited building automation systems,

  • how most buildings with building automation systems have none or limited zone control,

  • the lack of zone control often results in overuse of air conditioning,

  • an excessive use of air conditioning results in a discomfortable indoor climate, and

  • retrofitting buildings with modern building management systems supporting zone control is very expensive and time consuming.

We therefore invite you to join us on this exclusive site visit to discover practical insights into retrofitting strategies and smart systems that create healthier, more efficient indoor environments.
