Summer School in Energy Informatics 2025

Thank you for your interest in the Summer School in Energy Informatics 2025.
To complete your registration, please follow all required steps below.

Step 1 — Pay the Summer School Fee

Select “Summer School Registration – EI.A 2025” in the payment channel below and complete checkout for the fee of €150.
Note: This fee covers lunches and coffee breaks during the summer school. It does not cover the conference registration.

 

Step 2 — Submit the Registration Form

Fill out the Summer School Registration Form on this page. All required fields must be completed, including:

  • Full name and email

  • Position/role, affiliation, and country

  • Short participant information: Research Background, Current Research/Professional Focus, and Motivation for Participation (brief statements)

 

(Optional) Step 3 — Upload or Email Your Info

If you prefer, you may upload your short participant information as a document (PDF/DOCX), or email it to contact@energyinformatics.academy with the subject line “EI.A 2025 Summer School Registration”.
Please label any file with your full name (e.g., First_Last_SummerSchool2025.pdf).

 

Important notes

  • Deadline: Registration closes on 15 November 2025.

  • Invoices/Receipts: A payment receipt is issued automatically after checkout. If you need a formal invoice, email your billing details to contact@energyinformatics.academy.

  • Cancellations/Refunds: See the refund policy at the bottom of Step 1.

  • Questions: Write to contact@energyinformatics.academy.

Summer School Registration Fee

  • The registration fee is €150, which covers lunches and coffee breaks during the summer school.

  • Please complete your registration by purchasing the Summer School Registration – EI.A 2025 product via the payment channel below.

  • Note: This fee does not cover the Energy Informatics Conference participation fee, which requires a separate registration.

Cancellation policy: All cancellations or refund requests must be made in writing by e-mail (contact@energyinformatics.academy) to the summer school committee. Fifty percent (50%) refund of the amount received by the secretariat as stated in the original receipt will be given to cancellations received before 15 November 2025. NO REFUND will be given for cancellations received after 15 November 2025. The refund will be processed only after the summer school.

Guidelines for Short Participant Information

 

To help us better understand your background and interests, please provide brief responses in the fields below. Your answers will allow the organizers to tailor the Summer School program and group activities effectively.

  • Research Background
    Describe your academic and/or professional experiences that are relevant to the themes of the Summer School, such as energy systems, IoT, cloud computing, or intelligent buildings. Keep your response concise (up to 150 words).

  • Current Research / Professional Focus
    Summarize your current projects, research areas, or professional responsibilities that connect to the key topics of the Summer School (up to 150 words).

  • Motivation for Participation
    Explain why you would like to attend the Summer School. Highlight how participation aligns with your academic or professional goals, and how it will strengthen your knowledge or competence in energy informatics (up to 150 words).

 

Please keep your responses clear and focused. Full sentences are preferred, but bullet points are also acceptable if they help you present the information succinctly.
